Terms & Conditions

How we work, what to expect, and the terms that cover our appliance repair services across Sarasota County.

Last updated: January 2026

These Terms & Conditions cover the appliance repair services we provide to homeowners, renters, property managers, and commercial clients throughout Sarasota County, Florida. They’re written in plain English on purpose, because you should know exactly how we work before we ever show up at your door.

By booking a service with us, whether by phone, text, email, or through our website, you agree to the terms below.

The Services We Provide

We diagnose and repair household and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, stoves, cooktops, microwaves, ice makers, wine coolers, and more, across a wide range of standard and luxury brands. All of our service is mobile: we come to you anywhere in Sarasota County rather than asking you to haul an appliance to a shop.

We’ll always tell you honestly when a repair makes sense and when it doesn’t. As a general rule, if a repair would cost more than about half the price of a comparable new appliance, replacement is usually the smarter move, and we’ll say so even when it means a smaller job for us.

Scheduling & Arrival

When you contact us, we confirm your address and set up an arrival window that works for you. Same-day service is available in most of Sarasota County when you call before 11 AM, and we give real arrival windows rather than vague all-day blocks.

Because appliance repair depends on traffic, parts, and how earlier jobs unfold, arrival times are estimates and not guarantees. If we’re running behind or need to reschedule, we’ll let you know as soon as we can. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, we simply ask that you give us as much notice as possible so we can offer that slot to someone else.

Diagnosis, Estimates & Approval

Our technician inspects the appliance, identifies the problem, and gives you the full repair price before touching anything. A diagnostic fee applies to the visit, and that fee is credited toward the repair if you decide to move forward.

No repair work begins until you approve the price. There are no surprise charges added after the work starts. If we discover a second, unrelated problem while we’re there, we’ll explain it and quote it separately so you can decide.

Pricing & Payment

The price we quote after diagnosis is the price for the work described in that quote. If the scope of the repair changes, for example if a part turns out to be failing that wasn’t visible during the initial inspection, we’ll pause, explain it, and get your approval before continuing.

Payment is due when the repair is completed, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing, such as with a commercial or property-management account.

Parts

We use quality replacement parts suited to your appliance. Some repairs, especially on luxury or older models, may require parts that have to be special-ordered, which can affect timing. If a part is on back-order or discontinued, we’ll let you know and talk through your options before proceeding.

Our Warranty

Every repair we complete is backed by a warranty on parts and labor. If the same problem comes back within the warranty period, call us and we’ll return to make it right at no additional charge for that repair.

The warranty covers the specific repair we performed. It doesn’t cover new or unrelated problems, damage from misuse, accidents, power surges, pests, or normal wear on other parts of the appliance, or issues caused by continuing to run an appliance we advised you to stop using.

What We Need From You

To keep your visit fast and safe, we ask that you:

  • Give us accurate information about the appliance, the brand and model where possible, and the problem you’re seeing
  • Make sure we can safely reach the appliance, with the area reasonably clear
  • Let us know in advance about condo elevator windows, HOA requirements, gated access, or lockbox codes so we can plan around them
  • Secure pets during the visit
  • Be available, or have an adult representative available, so we can confirm the diagnosis and get approval before repairs

Access, Condos & HOAs

We regularly work in condos, high-rises, and gated communities throughout Sarasota. If your building has specific access rules, insurance requirements, or scheduling windows, tell us when you book and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. We can’t be responsible for delays caused by building access issues outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

We take care in every home we enter and stand behind our work. That said, to the fullest extent allowed by Florida law, our responsibility is limited to the cost of the repair we performed. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, for damage or data loss involving connected or “smart” appliance features, for food loss, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from an appliance failure. If an appliance is unsafe to repair, or beyond reasonable repair, we’ll tell you rather than proceed.

Right to Decline Service

For safety and quality reasons, we may decline or stop a job, for example if an appliance has been unsafely modified, if there are hazardous conditions in the home, or if we can’t get the parts needed to do the repair properly. If that happens, we’ll explain why.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Our services are provided in Sarasota County, Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Booking a service after a change means you accept the current version.
